About the menu

Kedai Kopi Keng Luan is a charming kopitiam nestled on Pangkor Island, offering an authentic Malaysian breakfast experience. The stall is best known for its robust, fragrant coffee—whether it’s the classic kopi C or the richly brewed iced coffee, both deeply satisfying and full-bodied. The highlight undoubtedly lies in their kaya toast, praised for its perfectly crispy thinly toasted bread layered with cold, creamy butter and sweet, fragrant kaya. Breakfast staples like half-boiled eggs and roti bakar are simple yet comforting, resonating with nostalgic flavors. Patrons also rave about the signature seafood noodles from the adjacent stall, especially the curry and clear soup varieties, offering a taste that recalls home-cooked warmth. While service can feel relaxed—as is the island pace—the genuine flavors and local ambiance make every visit worthwhile. Kedai Kopi Keng Luan is truly a must-visit for those seeking traditional Malaysian kopi culture paired with hearty, soulful dishes.

The coffee is pretty strong and not so sweet. The kaya toast is one of the popular items, and i like the bread is crispy toasted with nice cold chunks of butter. The service is slow, and they tend to forget your order, but i guess that is part of island lifestyle. The stall next to it sells good mixed seafood soup.
